The kids got a very early Christmas present from all of the grandparents. Our neighbors were moving this week and wanted to sell their swing set. Here is a picture of the kids when they first saw the swing set in our yard. They have always eyed it from afar. They were so excited to be able to get on it.
They have played on it none stop since Saturday. They have even found that they can drape blankets around the fort area to make a little club house. It brings back many childhood memories of my sisters an I playing.
Peek-A-Boo
They love to swing without the swing set rocking back and forth like our other one did.

Thank you Nana, Papa, Memaw, and Grandaddy!!!!!

Here is the children taking advantage of Grandaddy. They finished eating and asked me if they could get down. Well, they both know they usually have to wait until everyone is finished before getting up. They both turn to Grandaddy, who was sitting in the middle of them, and they asked him if they could sit in his lap. Well, he hardly ever tells them no. So, he then said well now how am I going to finish eating. Lane said, "We will feed you". Therefore, they both proceeded to feed Grandaddy. I hope some of the food made it to his mouth.

Fun, Fun, and More Fun

We went for a visit to Kathy and Toby's house this past week. Here is Gretta and Mary-Beth playing with polly pockets. They always have such a great time together.
Here Greyson and Gretta had some fun with some stamps. They found anywhere possilbe to stamp.

Here is Mary-Beth and Addison cooking for us some cookies. We stayed the night at Rachelle and Jefferey's house Friday night. The girls had a reaaly great time. They even surpised us and slept in the same room.

"Lilly the Turtle"

Here is a turtle that will found on his way home. Will nor I know anything about turtles, so if anyone knows what a snapping turtle looks like and if this is one, feel free to let me know! It, of course, hasn't snapped at us yet. The kids are really getting a kick out of it. They named it "Lilly". Well, Mary-Beth named it.

Some of my friends and I went to Mynelle Gardens today. We took our girl's fairy outfits and went crazy with picture taking. Here are a few from my camera (it is not the best but you can get the idea). This place is the best place to go for pictures. Sara will be showing me all of her pics soon.

Here are two of the fairy costumes that I have been working on for the Fall. Sara's Addison also has a little fairy costume to wear. She isn't in the picture. The little girl standing beside Mary-Beth is my friend Rachell's little girl. She is so funny when you bring out the camera; she starts to make the cutest faces (saying Cheeeeeeeese).

The Preschool Room Makeover

My friend Sara and I set out just to do a little room redo and it turned into a long (but fun) three day (and still counting) adventure. We had fun but one thing after another happened while painting. We started off great with the white paint on the bottom. We then went to open the green and the lighting at church must be very different from the Walmart lighting. It was yellow instead of green. Will took the paint back to Walmart and asked them to make to color more green. We rolled the green on the walls but after doing the white and bookshelves and then the green we were extremely tired. So we went back on Thursday afternoon and trimmed the green ---when it dried it was much darker than the green we rolled on the night before. The paint must have not been mixed enough. Well at this point we had ran out of paint and Sara had to go back to Walmart and get another can of paint. We just crossed our fingers and prayed it matched. It was close enough. We went back on Friday morning and put another coat of green on the walls. We also finished up on the accessories. Then while trying to clean up and leave, Sara had the bucket of left over green paint and dropped it outside the church and it went all over the concrete. She just laughed----We left the paint there to dry and pray that it will peel off when it dries (this is a little tip that Eric Wooley told us when I spilled some paint while building our house). However we did what we could and hope the children like their new room, it was definitely done out of love.

Here are my kids while they "help" us do the room makeover. They kept us BUSY as we painted.
