Happy Birthday my sweet Lane and Happy Birthday Jesus!!!
I am adding a few pictures from the holidays. I have the pictures from Christmas day on because I got a new camera for Christmas from my lovely mother-n-law. So all of the pictures on the camera that I have been borrowing from Sara is still on it and sitting in the cabinet. When I get a chance I will add those. It has the pictures of our Christmas in Alabama, Christmas Eve, and Christmas morning.
Here are the pictures of our Christmas in Tennessee. The pictures below are of Will and his dad shooting skeet.

Here is a picture of Lane shooting a gun for the first time. He was so excited to be able to be with the big boys doing big boy things. You can see his hands in the picture as they are coming off of the gun because it pinched him when he pulled the trigger. He even has wounds to prove it.

Grandaddy and the kids playing in Tennessee.

The picture below is of Paw paw reading the caller id on his phone. Poor guy!!!

Lane's 4th birthday take one!

Lane's 4th Birthday party take two!!!!
this is a pair of pajama pants that Tracy made Lane for his birthday. She got a sewing machine for Christmas (yes, Tracy wants to sew). Other than the material being upside down and the elastic band being the size to fit Will instead of Lane, oh and a accidental tee tee hole in the front, she did pretty good. There is hope.
This is the kids jumping on there new trampoline that Santa brought.
The rest of the pictures are of New Years Eve at Nana and Papa's

"Christmas through a Child's eye"
Will and I took the kids to see Santa on Saturday to North Park. It became a tradition to go to this one when MB had her first Christmas. After getting a photo made to frame with Santa every year we go to the Hallmark store near the Santa setup to pick out a hallmark ornament. The ornament they pick is one that reminds them of something special that has happened throughout the year. It was funny this year because MB has figured out the routine. She asked after seeing Santa, " okay Mom, where is the store with the ornaments that we look at." I thought that was neat because I had not mentioned anything about the ornaments to the kids yet.

Here is Lane and Daddy racing to see Santa
MB and Lane waiting with excitement to tell Santa all that is on their list. MB had to bring little stuffed Baily for support:)Here are the kids anxiously waiting. It was so cute to here them talking about Santa. I wish I could bottle their innocence and keep it to give back to them when they grow older and learn more of the worldly things.
Here is Santa reading their list. He was having a little trouble because MB wrote hers and helped Lane write his.

Here is Lane and MB posing with their ornaments

"Hot Coco and Charlie Brown"
Last night brought back so many memories of childhood for Will and I. Charlie Brown's Christmas came on and the kids were so excited to watch it. They also had to have hot chocolate with the movie. Will looked at how long Charlie Brown's Christmas has been around- it said since 1965. Can you believe it has been around that long???? I love this time of the year, I even love all of the crazy hectic schedules that comes with it. It is all so much fun to me.

I know I have been a blog slacker these days, but I have been working on our schools Christmas parade float for the most part of the last two weeks. I am pooped:) However, we had a blast and it turned out getting second for best in show---- Yeah!!!!!!.

Here is a picture of Mrs. Ginn (a mermaid) and Mary-Beth (a fish) before we left our church to head downtown.

Here is our entry into the parade. The theme was Christmas around the world. The float committee decided to do "Christmas under the sea". It was glitter everywhere. We had mermaids, jelly fish, crabs, turtles, fish, blow fish, big puffy fish, Octopus, starfish, scuba divers, and etc....
This is Eddie Smith. He drove the truck and let us use his goose neck trailer. Thank you Eddie for all that you did.

This is Me as a Jelly fish (the white Umbrella), Lane and Mason (the turtles) and Mar-Beth (fish).

If you look closely at the picture below you can see the big purple Puffy fish. That is Anna our computer teacher. Mrs. Cole made all of the mermaid costumes and two of these puffy fish. She is amazing.

Last but not least i have to say that everyone worked their tails off on this float. My dad and Alisa dedicated soooooooooo much time on this and i have to say thanks so much, Anna you too, y'all are the best!!!!!!!!!!

Here below is a couple of other floats that Will took pictures of in the parade.

This is Beechwood's float and here is Melissa dressed as a girl from the 70's. Y'all was great too!!!

Here is the float that beat us. It was Danny Hearn's Trucking. It was a steamboat.

I decided to add a couple of pictures of my Christmas decorations that me and the kids put up.

I wanted to post some pictures of Mary-Beth's program at school. The kindergarten worked very hard the past couple of weeks preparing for this production. It was nice. They sang around 7 songs or so and afterwards we had a big thanksgiving feast with turkey, dressing, and even cranberry sauce. (and other sides) Thanks for coming Grandaddy, Daddy, Aunt Tracy and Stella. And Thank you Mrs. Harvey and Mrs. Jones for working so hard on the whole thing.

I promised a few more pictures of our trip. Here is some of MB and Lane making sand angels.

Here is Lane enjoying the cheesy macaroni and cheese at Lulu's.
This is Lane and Addison holding on tight to Colin's legs taking a ride around the condo:)

Here the kids were getting ready to go down to the pool

I know it has been a while since I have posted. Here are a few pictures of our trip to Perdido Keys, FL. We had a really great and relaxing trip. Thanks Sara and Colin. I will post more later. My computer has been acting up these days so it is much more difficult to post. Hopefully I will get the problem fixed soon!!
