We Closed Down the Park!!!

Well guys, it looks like we closed the park down. It was said it was not safe enough yet. Lane I told you to toughen up and quit crying. If those firemen only new everywhere you go you make things unsafe:)

I have been tagged. Here it goes!!

1. I too have something that totally grosses me out when I see it. It is holes in something. Like when you kick an ant pile ----------yuck---------- it makes me sick, so I won't talk about it no more.


2. I am absolutely a horrible typist and speller. I guess most of you probably already know this if you read my blog. I am really stepping out on a limb to keep up a blog and have people be able to read it. Also, out of all things for me to nominated for I was nominated to be the PTO Secretary (Scary). So this will probably be the shortest tag yet!

3. I absolutely love cold weather. I love to light a fire and curl up in a couch and watch a good movie. Of course, living in Mississippi with two children, this just does not happen very much.

4. The thing I hate to do most is FOLDING CLOTHES. I absolutely hate doing it. I always wait until I have to do it. Then I end up with five loads at a time. It really stinks.

5. This one is probably very common, but when I wake up, I have to make up every bed in the house. I do it as a ritual. I start in my room, then Mary-Beth's, then I do Lane's. I can not leave the house with them unmade. Even if it is just to take Mary-Beth to school. I also do not know how to keep baseboards clean. I have tried everything. I need to know the secret for this. If anyone knows one, please tell me HOW. It drives me crazy.

6. I am more like my son than most people know. When I was yonger, I loved critters, just like Lane does. My sister and I would stay outside when we were at home. Once we found a ton of little baby frogs near the pond in my parents neighborhood. We put all the frogs that we could into a purse and took them to school (elementary). We wanted to show a friend how cute they were. Hoever, when we got there - They were all gone. Because of this I think this is why I love to be outside now. I also love to plant, but I don't have a green thumb.

Spa Day

Some of my family came from Alabama to visit this weekend. We had the best visit. We shopped, ate at Rusty's, watched football, my mom cooked crab legs and shrimp (yummy) walked and played outside and many more things. We ended Saturday with a spa day. We had facials and hand soaks. Lane was hilarious!!! Oh and in the bottom picture the kids were playing dress up and i had to throw in the pic of Lane in the police outfit (blurry because it was taken on my cell phone, sorry).

"What A Great Saturday"

We went to Mahanna this morning to let Miley and Will play. The kids had fun riding in the front while we drove the back roads at Mahanna. Shhhhh, don't tell Lee!!! Afterwards we all headed to the River front Park to let the little ones play and have a picnic.

Game night was tonight for our Sunday school. We had a lot of fun. Girls Rule!!!!!!!

"Why oh Why"

Why do they have to grow so fast. Here are a few pictures of Mary-Beth that I was flipping through because I was thinking back to the first year of her life. I guess you are wondering why I am doing this, well Mary-Beth came to me this afternoon and told me " Mama, I think my tooth is loose!!" Well, I got so sad. I know, I know, I should not be sad, but it is a sign of her growing up so quickly. I then called Mrs. Harvey and told her that I am withdrawing her from school because it is causing her to grow up way too fast. I am only kidding I won't withdraw her. But, this will change her sweet little baby face:)

Congratulations Caleb and Melissa for the start of your new life as a married couple. This weekend My mom and Dad, Alisa and Mason, and Mary-Beth and I went to Alabama to help with a shower/reception for Caleb and Melissa. We worked long hours but we had a great time. We had a lot of fun working deliriously in to wee hours of the morning on the cakes and food. After it was all said and done everything worked out great. We love you Caleb and Melissa and are proud of the two of you!!

Lazy weekend Days and A Bonfire

We enjoyed this weekend by staying around the house. Friday night my mom and dad and Will's parents came over and we played dominoes. We started doing this every couple of weekends. It is alot of fun and the children love to have both of their grandparents over at the same time. Here are a couple of pictures of them waiting on their arrival on Friday night.
On Saturday, Will and I worked around the house all day and that night Alisa and Lee came over to cook out. Since the recent storms have caused quite a bit of limbs down, we had a big bonfire to make smores. It really felt like fall already. I love Fall and Winter. I am so excited it Fall almost here.
