Such an Eventful Weekend
We started the weekend off with a great birthday party at Gatti Town, for Addison. It was a blast. The only interesting part was transporting Addison's birthday cake from my house to the party. (only an hour away). I was a nervous wreck the whole ride.

Next, on Saturday morning, we had an Easter egg hunt at the Art Park. Rachelle came down to go with us. Lane was a little "go getter" out there.

After the Easter egg hunt there, we headed to Toby's family's house for a cook out and egg hunt. There was all kids of animal and things for the kids to do. It was alot of fun.

Sunday, the kids of course woke up and saw what the Easter bunny brought and we got ready for church.

We ended the weekend at Mary and Keith's house. Thank you, God for such a great Easter Weekend.

HAPPY EASTER

We have really had fun getting ready for Easter. The kids have had a great time dying Easter eggs and hunting them. You would think I was giving them gold when I told them they could eat the eggs after our egg hunt. They are the sweetest little munchkins.

This is where they sat to wait while I hid the eggs. They did not move from the time I left out until the time I came to get them.

They ate a total of 8 eggs. They will surely have a tummy ache tonight!

Mary-Beth's and Lane's Soccer game

Mary-Beth didn't want to play, she cried and cried every time she went out there. I really don't know if it is her thing. But Lane, on the other hand wanted to play so badly. Finally, The coach told us just to put the jersey on Lane and let him go in. He was on cloud 9. He did everything that the coach told him. When the coach said to spread out, he would spread out (he would spread his legs out as you can see in the picture of him below - this may not have been quite what the coach was meaning). He was so cute out there playing with the 5 and 6 year olds that were towering over him. I was very impressed with him how quickly he caught on and how he stayed with the other kids. He even got a couple of kicks in. It was the cutest thing I have ever seen.

Getting Ready for Spring
The kids have really enjoyed the weather these days. I can't seem to keep them from going outside. Which I can not blame them, I find myself walking outside every time I get on the phone or when I look at the housework that needs to be done. I even let the kids stay outside, to play in the sandbox, until 7:40 last night. They were just having to much fun.

Mary-Beth's first soccer game

I am proud of my sweet girl. She was scared to death and even cried out in the field as she was there. But by the end of the game she actually tried to kick the ball one time. The coach is very sweet and would encourage her the whole time. He always let her throw the ball in. I feel like it will just take some time for her to get comfortable with the game.

"My Lady"

Lane has become fascinated with lady bugs. It always amazes me that he can always find one somewhere in the house----everyday----. He is so funny because he walks around saying I need to find "my lady". It is so cute. He always wants to sleep and eat with them there. I don't normally let him sleep with them, but one day he asked me (like always) if he could let the lady bug take a nap with him. So I let him this day and he held him in his hand the whole 2 1/2 to 3 hrs. When he woke up he opened his and and the lady bug was there. I just knew it was dead. But, much to my surprise, the lady bug began to crawl. Lane then said, look mommy my lady woke up. He is so funny about these little bugs.

Princess Party
We had a princess party at church tonight. I had to post some of the silly pics of some people. Everyone had a really fun time. Mary, Mary-Beth, and Susan got the awards for the "Most Princess".
