Congratulations Caleb and Melissa for the start of your new life as a married couple. This weekend My mom and Dad, Alisa and Mason, and Mary-Beth and I went to Alabama to help with a shower/reception for Caleb and Melissa. We worked long hours but we had a great time. We had a lot of fun working deliriously in to wee hours of the morning on the cakes and food. After it was all said and done everything worked out great. We love you Caleb and Melissa and are proud of the two of you!!

Lazy weekend Days and A Bonfire

We enjoyed this weekend by staying around the house. Friday night my mom and dad and Will's parents came over and we played dominoes. We started doing this every couple of weekends. It is alot of fun and the children love to have both of their grandparents over at the same time. Here are a couple of pictures of them waiting on their arrival on Friday night.
On Saturday, Will and I worked around the house all day and that night Alisa and Lee came over to cook out. Since the recent storms have caused quite a bit of limbs down, we had a big bonfire to make smores. It really felt like fall already. I love Fall and Winter. I am so excited it Fall almost here.

I went to Mary-Beth's school today to eat lunch with her. She was so happy when she saw me. It always makes you feel good to see your children get excited to see you. Mary-Beth's little friend (Brooklyn) brought cupcakes for Alisa's birthday, yesterday. I took some pics of them devouring them in the lunch room. Again, sorry about the quality, it was my phone camera. The kids were little pink marshins after eating them.

Birthdays, Birthdays, and more Birthdays!!!!

We were quite the partiers today. We started the day off with sending Lane off for a trip to San Antonio with my parents for a whole week:( We already miss him terribly) Then we went to Addison's birthday at pee wee workout. The kids had so much fun there. Then after that we headed to a birthday party for a little girl in Mary-Beth's class. She really had fun with all the girls there as they gave each other makeovers and watch Hannah Montana. Finally but not least we went to Granddaddy's Birthday party at there house. Mary-Beth was pretty pooped out, she even fell asleep on the way home,. If you know her, you know this never happens.

Just had to add the picture of the rainbow that we saw right after we finished cutting the grass today, it was sooooo pretty.

Weekend Pictures
Please excuse the quality of these pics, but I took all of the pics with my camera on my phone. We ended up having a great weekend despite the rough week. We are finally over the stomach bug and all else and were really able to enjoy the great weekend.
As you can see Mary-Beth did not want to leave after having so much fun on the sandbar.

Lane thought he was driving the boat. He was so proud of himself!!
Miley wants Lane to catch a fish just as bad as he does!!
Here are some pictures of the kids playing on the new edition of the playground downtown.

Update: i just added a couple of pics from this morning

I was just going to give a little update of how MB is doing at school. She is absolutely loving every second of it, she says now that it is even more fun than being at home. I would take offense to that but I know that this is all new and exciting to her and as long as she is happy I am happy. I will post some pics of her soon. This was soooooo hard for me but it is gradually getting easier. I will say though, do not take one second for granted with your children, the time goes by way too quick. If I could have change any of the time at home with Mary-Beth, I would have sat in the floor with them to play just a little more. Before I knew it, the time was gone and now she will spend the next 12 years of her life with the majority of the day in school. I have to now depend on the teachers to be a good role model for her. I know that Will and I will also be but 8 Hours of each day is now with them. At least I know this first year she has a great one.
