Friends, Family and a Relay

My weekend all ready has been so much fun. MB and I headed to Rachelle's house to watch her little girl in her school play on Friday morning. We spent the night Thursday so we would not have to get up too early, so the kids played at the sonic playground in Pearl on Thursday afternoon . It is a really good playground. After the play on Friday, which by the way Addison you did a great job and looked adorable, we took the kids to Rachelle's parents to go camping at Jellystone Park. They had so much fun. I ate lunch at Margaritas in Clinton with Rachelle. Next, I headed to V'burg to Relay for life. It was fun and very entertaining (your go "Brandy" (Brandon) for winning the pagent. I am now at home and need to get in bed but can't sleep because Will is at deer camp. I have to get up and make three cakes tomorrow, hummm... I wonder if I will get them all done with the lack of sleep that I have. I will add some pics later of this weekend. So good night to all:)

Dancing and Eating
Today we had my neighbors over for supper (Stella and Wayne). Stella is from Russia and Her parents have been in town for the past three weeks. I invited them all over before her parents left to go back home. They are all so sweet. There is definitely a language barrier. I wish so badly I knew how to speak Russian. We had a really good time and laughed alot. Aunt Tracy showed up. She did not know that we had company, but Mary-Beth was excited to see her. She got Ethan (Stella and Wayne's baby) and started dancing with the both of them. Ethan was smiling from ear to ear. Lane is out of town with my parents and Mason in Nashville, TN. They are having a great time. They went to the zoo today and swam with Papa and Nana (this is a big thing because my parents never swim). I miss that little boy. This my first week in a really long time to be at home for the most part of the day all by myself (after I drop MB off to school). What to do at home all by yourself. Hummmmm sleep sounds really good.

Happy Easter!!!
Our Easter weekend started off quite interesting. Thursday night all of the cousins played hard until late in the evening. Friday morning Lane woke up saying that his leg hurt him. I brushed him off because he is of course "Lane". About two hours later he came to me and said "but mom, my leg really does hurt me." I looked at it and it was very big and swollen. Rushed to doctor. He had cellulitus from a mosquito bite. (infection in the tissue). We got put on antibiotics and had to go back Saturday morning to make sure it was working. It did, thankfully. So we were able to go to the preschool Easter egg hunt. The kids loved it! My cousin, Caleb, and his wife, Melissa, came and Kathy and her family came to the hunt.

Here are the kids having an egg hunt at our house on Saturday afternoon with the 5 dozen eggs we died. Sorry, the egg dying pictures did not turn out. But they loved finding all of them.
We had a cookout with all of our family that came from Alabama and Will's family Saturday afternoon and the funniest thing happened. A parakeet flew to our roof line. Keith tried to catch it and then my Uncle Danny ended up catching it. So now we have a new pet. It was obviously someones pet that was in need of something to eat.

Here it is in a frog cage for the time being until the Easter bunny arrived with one the following morning. Than your Mamie actually for getting it for them.

Poor Mary-Beth woke up with fever Easter morning. You can see it in her pink checks. Today Lane is running fever! Poor thing!

This is the kids with there candy bunny teeth in. They looked so funny to me with them in.

This is a picture of a flower that Will's aunt Beverly gave us when his grandaddy past away last year. The blooms are huge!
I was taking the picture so I did not get in it. Next time I will have to do like you, Tina, and set a timer so people will know that I exist. Until next time don't forget the true reason for Easter! "He Is Alive"

Well, I decided to try and add some pictures from my mom's computer today. Colin says my computer is somewhat doing better, so hopefully I will go pick it up and get back into the computer world soon. However it has been nice to have a break. Lets see, what all has happened???
Will and I celebrated out 11th anniversary. We went to Flowood and stayed a night in a hotel for dinner and a movie. It was much needed time together. We have not stayed away together (alone) a since our honeymoon. So it was great to focus on each other for once.
Here are the pictures of our trip to the zoo that I promised. The kids had a great time.

Will and Lane off to play golf. I had to take a picture of them since they were dressed alike!
Here is a picture of the kids on St. Patricks Day.

This Lane's first visit to the dentist. I went ahead and took both of the kids for a cleaning. They both loved it and can not wait to go back.

On one of the many many days of rain this month, the kids were playing on their bikes in the garage. Mary-Beth stuck her head in to tell me that it was sprinkling and I told them they could stay out there a minute. Well, this is what I found when I went out to get them. WHAT A MESS!!

I had to add this picture of Hayes. He was hilarious when he was jumping on the trampoline and his hair had static in it. It was sticking up everywhere.

Mary-Beth had her Easter Egg hunt at school yesterday. They had fun. It was great weather to be outside!!!

One more thing that I am sad to post about is that our sweet dog "Baily" who we have had for 10 1/2 years, died two weeks ago. It was very traumatic for me and I have been very sad over it. Our family will miss that sweet little dog. I am sure it will be some time before I am able to post again, so until next time... Enjoy the nice spring weather and Happy Easter!!!!

Forgive Me
I know it has been way to long. I don't know what I will do now that my card reader is down. I can not upload any pictures as of now. I have been so bummed about this. Just a little recap of the past couple of weeks: Lane started soccer and is liking it (well some) and MB just went to Miami Florida with my parents and Gretta. They had a great time. This is the intercession week for the the district so MB is out of school. We went to the dentist yesterday and got the kids teeth cleaned. (I have some pics to post of that one day) and we went to the so with some friends. It was actually pretty hot out there. I also have pictures of this also. I will do my best to figure out how to get pictures posted. I really think the only solution is to buy a new laptop. (anyone have one they want to get rid of????????) Until next time, have a great week

Happy Valentine's Day
I had set out the kids valentines last night so that they would see it when they woke up and be surprised, but much to my surprise they surprised us. Mary-Beth got up at 7:00 and woke Lane up with her. She tip-toed to our bedroom and turned off our monitor so that we would not hear her (clever huh, I may should be worried?) Anyway, she must have had the thing all planned out in her mind. She made Will and me a peanut butter and jelly roll up each. Plated them and fixed both of us a drink. She set them at the table and set up a treasure hunt for us. (I guess this came from Holly and Tony on Wednesday night) They both came in our room at 8:00 and woke us up.
I love my kids so much and what a better way to spend the Love day than with two sweet little kids that truly do love us.

This is the kids valentine gifts from us.
The picture below is the nice breakfast that Mary-Beth and Lane made us. (Lane, I think really just watched)
Here is Will reading his book that the kids and I got made for him.
Here is Will's treasure at the end of his treasure hunt. I believe it will go very good with is beard :)
Here is my treasure. MB said that she picked out this bear because it has a heart on his hand. There is also a card that they made for us.

This is Lane after eating some of his blue cupcake dog!

A great weekend!

I don't have any pics of the weekend, but man you can't complain with this weather (Holly, sorry to give you such a crazy stroll, Friday afternoon). We started this weekend off with Rachelle, Jeffery, and Addison spending the night Friday and going to the play "The King and I". Cameron was in it and he did such a great job. Such the little actor! I woke up Saturday and after the Scotts left I was headed to the park downtown I was talking to my neighbor "Misti". She told me I was really missing out by not going to the "Kelly's Kids Warehouse Sale" So I headed down to Natchez. I got some great coordinating outfits for the kids. It was so much fun. Thanks Mom and Dad for helping out with some of the outfits. I am set for the next few holidays. I got back in town and met the in-laws for supper. After church Sunday, Will and I worked in the yard some while the kids played with Addie. (Landry, we will catch you next time) I hope everyone has a great week and a Happy Valentine's Day!!
