Why Haven't I thought of it Before Now?

Mary-Beth asked me if she could wash dishes for me, I would be crazy to say no!!!! So I pulled her up a chair and taught her how to wash good and rinse good. Don't worry, for those of you that know MB, know that she is a clean little thing. Now, Lane may need a little supervision. She washed the entire sink load. MAN!!!! She told me that she would do this everyday for me. I do want to make it dreaded so I will let her do it only every other day:) (JK) ....... I think?

Could Someone Please Get Me a Tissue

Mary-Beth's class had a Mother's Day Tea for all of us mothers today. It was the most precious thing I have to say. Mary-Beth was so excited to get to dress up for school. She really surprised me on how well she did. She sang a part in the microphone and had a speaking part. My little girl is growing up. She is not such the shy little thing anymore. I know, I can't believe it. I cried and cried through the whole thing. I tell you one thing Mrs. Harvey and Mrs. Jones worked there tails off on this thing. Thank you soooooo much!!!! We all sat down for a nice lunch following the program.

I have been meaning tell the good news. Tracy is FINALLY getting married!!!. (JK Tracy).. John Austin proposed to her this passed weekend in Memphis. Here is a picture of her beautiful ring. Congratulations Tracy!!!!

Dad's Day Off

We were so glad daddy was off work today. He woke up this morning ready to be Mr. Mom. He made MB's breakfast and woke her up to get her dressed. He let me sleep in, thank you sweetie. He fixed MB's lunch and backed her book bag. They left for school while Lane and I slept. When he got back home we got to work. It was such a beautiful day so we decided to get the pool about to set it up. We ran to Home Depot and got sand to replenish the sandbox and mulch for the front flower beds. Meanwhile the pool was filling. The day was a success! We pick up MB early from school and got everything done in time to enjoy the rest of the day. Happy Birthday DaddyToday was is my dad's birthday. We love you and hope that you had a great day Dad. We went to eat at El Sombrero after church . MB looks thrilled to have her picture made:) After eating we headed to Amy Stepp's wedding party at Lelia and Bill's house. I had to get their a little early to take the cakes. I promised I would post a picture of them. Here is the white cake, the picture of the chocolate cake did not turn out, sorry.

That afternoon we had a birthday party for my dad at my house. Here are a couple of picture from the party. We love you Daddy.

Friends, Family and a Relay

My weekend all ready has been so much fun. MB and I headed to Rachelle's house to watch her little girl in her school play on Friday morning. We spent the night Thursday so we would not have to get up too early, so the kids played at the sonic playground in Pearl on Thursday afternoon . It is a really good playground. After the play on Friday, which by the way Addison you did a great job and looked adorable, we took the kids to Rachelle's parents to go camping at Jellystone Park. They had so much fun. I ate lunch at Margaritas in Clinton with Rachelle. Next, I headed to V'burg to Relay for life. It was fun and very entertaining (your go "Brandy" (Brandon) for winning the pagent. I am now at home and need to get in bed but can't sleep because Will is at deer camp. I have to get up and make three cakes tomorrow, hummm... I wonder if I will get them all done with the lack of sleep that I have. I will add some pics later of this weekend. So good night to all:)
