We had a really great Friday and Saturday.
Well first of all Lane came home Friday. So I took him to MB's school and did some fun craft projects with the kindergarten class. Lane loves to act like he is a big boy. We went out to eat with Memaw, Grandaddy, Tracy, Lisa and Lee, Cameron and Mason. The kids begged Aunt Tracy to take them all home with her and all four spend the night. Sucka- Tracy. They all did, All FOUR children. Will and I took advantage of that and went to see a movie. We saw Fireproof.
IT WAS GREAT! I recommend every COUPLE go see the movie together.
Saturday morning we got the kids from Tracy and took them to the Costume Contest and parade down town. Little Hayes won first place for his age group, he was so adorable. I think Hayes was the cutest costume. Lane won a trophy also in his age group. He was so proud of himself. Mary-Beth won a trophy one year also so it was his turn. Lane met his new BFF. You can see pictures of him below. You all have to check the paper tomorrow morning (Sunday) to see if any pictures of the kids are in the paper because they were out there taking plenty of pictures.

Sit Down, Lots and Lots of pics to look at!
Today was Jersey Day. I had to throw that pic in of MB

We had a great weekend. It started on Friday morning at Mary-Beth's school. She had awards day. She got an award for all A's and the Girl Good Citizenship award in her class. I was so proud of my baby girl. She really does work very hard at school.

Next we had game night at our house for the 20s/30s class from church. It was a great turn out and alot of fun. The children there I think even had alot of fun.

Saturday afternoon many families from our church went to the Silver Creek Arena pumpkin patch. I believe my children would live there if they could, defiantly Lane! We had a hayride, a horse back ride (big hit) fed farm animals (also big hit) painted pumpkins and ate dinner there. It was great to have something here in Vicksburg to do as a family. They said that they may even do something at Christmas time for the public.

Kite Flying
Today Alisa and I spent the day helping Mary-Beth and Cameron work on their reading fair boards. Lane found his kite in his closet. He insisted that we fly it. I helped him untangle the string and he decided he was not going to wait for me. He took the kite outside and got it up himself. Well, then all of the kids wanted a turn. They had the best time playing and getting extremely dirty outside. It felt so great with the overcast and wind.

Mary-Beth was sad that she could not get the kite up by herself!
Mason was working so hard he could not keep his little tounge in his mouth.

Hair Cuts and etc....
Friday, MB and I went to get new hair cuts. We are tired of ponytails:) This was MB's first real haircut. I have trimmed it a couple of times. It was alot of fun doing it together. MB was so excited about her new cut. She wanted everyone to notice it. We went to WalMart afterwards and she saw a set of twin boys that are in her class and they said hey to her. Well, after they left she looked at me and said, "Momma, they did not even notice that I got all of my hair cut off." I told her, that is the first of many times that a boy won't notice. Later we saw the same little boys at the park and she was swinging beside one of them and made a point to tell him about her hair. See, girls, it is born in us for us to want guys to notice detail and it is born in guys for them not to notice.
I add a few pics of the rest of the weekend!!
